Shortwave
Listener's Resources
While listening to far away
shortwave stations is interesting, informative, and just plain fun,
you will get a lot more out of it with a few supportive resources.
Some of the medium wave resources also provide shortwave listeners
with information needed so some of them are listed here as well.
Books and Publications
Passport to World Band Radio Available from major bookstores, amateur radio stores, and radio
clubs. Passport is the first choice for shortwave listeners,
beginners or experienced SWLs alike. It lists widely heard programs
by time and also provides a detailed frequency listing of virtually
all shortwave stations. A must have.

World Radio and TV Handbook(WRTH) Available from major bookstores or amateur radio stores. This book
would be a good choice if you wanted one source for both medium and
shortwave listening. Not as readable as Passport but contains lots of
detailed information.
