Bad news. Paul Goliboski is going to be tied
up helping David Ross at the Brampton Ham Flea Market and Scott
Guthrie's wife will not be
returning from Africa until March 24th. With the confirmed attendance
at the March Shadow Lake reduced to the level that the cost will become
prohibitive, especially for someone on a pension like me, I have
decided to cancel our reservation for that weekend. And, since I have
no other available weekend in March or April, the spring Shadow Lake
Radio Camp is hereby cancelled.
I am booking the camp for the weekend of November 9th to 11th which,
like last year, is the weekend after the clocks change and two weeks
after the B12 broadcast season starts.
I'm sorry for this sad turn of events but we simply don't have the same
interest in the hobby like we did a few years ago when we were getting
between 8 and 10 people out twice a year.
