CFRB/CFRX

CFRB (1010 kHz) began broadcasting in 1927, the call letters of the station reflecting the involvement of the pioneering Canadian radio manufacturer Rogers: "Canada's First Rogers Batteryless". Today, the station broadcasts from Clarkson, Ontario, just west of Toronto, where the shortwave relay CFRX (6070 kHz) is also situated.
